Imagine an “I appreciate all that you are” gift that’s brimming with everything delicious – from Red Table Meat salumi, to Cherry Tree House mushroom butter, Twisted Shrub's elixirs to fresh pasta (from you know who!). The possibilities are endless! Hit the action at Mill City Farmers Market this Saturday from 8:30am – 1pm.  We also have a very new noodle to add to the mix, along with a bunch of regular favorites. Plan to come early … you know how fast they go!

NEW: Frustrated that your favorite noodle is gone before you park the car on Saturday mornings? Now you can put a hold on the noodle of your choice! Contact us before 5pm on Friday, and we’ll happily hold it for you for pickup Saturday morning until noon!

The weather is slated for glorious, which makes for a delightfully lovely Saturday morning stroll and shop. Hit the action at Mill City’s season opener Saturday from 8:30am – 1pm. There's a bunch of new friends joining us this season (have a look at the reviews at Mill City Times and Tangled Up in Food.) Dumpling & Strand is featuring a very new noodle (read below), along with a bunch of regular favorites. Plan to come early … you know how fast they go!

This weekend it’s all about sprouted grains, along with some old favorites. Regardless of your preference, plan to come early … you know how fast they go!*

*We’ve been asked: “If they go so damned fast, why don’t you just bring more?” Fair question, Mom. Here's our answer: we’d rather give you lots of options (upwards of 18 different kinds of noodles some weeks!) and sell out (Yay!) than give you only 3 choices and not sell everything (Snooze!).

SOURDOUGH RYE FUSILLO

Our newest offering, this noodle is for those seeking a bold flavor! Long, ruffly and texture rich, this sourdough rye noodle uses a German baking method of fermented rye called quellstück (kwell-schtuck) and organic, Minnesotan grown rye. We incorporate the fermented rye (sourced from a Minneapolis baker and miller) to deliver pronounced fruity and spicy notes with a hit of tang. Pair with pancetta, beef, and mild cheeses for a restaurant worthy meal!
